33 weeks and high heel diva

So, I am now 33 weeks pregnant. I keep telling everyone that I have 7 weeks left. But in reality,
I am only 6 weeks away from my due date. Pretty eye opening, huh?

I have attached my 20 week picture, which is below. I am in the same outfit. Doesn't look to different....or does it? I didn't do my profile view which is obviously a huge difference. If you can see where my hand is, I am way bigger.

Ryan is now obsessed....I am mean obsessed with my high heels. She doesn't want to wear my flip flops or anything that is flat. She asks EVERYDAY to wear my high heels. I have even found 3 pair in her room. I don't wear them, so right now it's not a big deal. However, when I want to wear them and can't find them.....oh no...we will be having a talk :). Inside.... I love it. She is so prissy and girly that I can stand it. She used to not care about dressing up, but all of a sudden it changed. She carries a purse (she doesn't have to really have anything in it), wears my high heels and puts on sunglasses on her head.

She is also playing mommy a lot and she takes her new baby to school. She acts out what I do when I drop her off.

Phillip had a very awkward moment last night when she said she had a baby in her tummy (actual doll under her dress) and asked him to take it out. I laughed so hard. She also has a baby carrier, like a real one but smaller version, that she carries the baby in.

I know she will be a GREAT BIG sister. I can't wait to blog about when Lillian is here.

I love these moments when she is concentrating so hard. She really wanted to color Ariel one day. She did a great job. She doesn't sit for long, so I have to take her picture when it happens.

Awesome weather/ 33 week Dr appt

Now this is what I'm talking about!

I got to take Ryan to the park Sunday. The weather was awesome and she had a blast. She played by herself for about an hour and then we moved to a different park where there were two other kids that she played with. I think she really had a good time.

I went to the Dr for my 33 week appt. I turn 33 weeks on Wed, but the Dr couldn't see me on Tues or Wed. So I am two days shy of 33 weeks today, but that's ok.

The appt went great. Everything was normal. I heard Lillian's heartbeat, got a flu shot. my BP was good and I have only gained 23 lbs. I have 7 weeks left and 7 lbs to go to stay under or at 30. It will be hard, but sure I can do it. It's not that I am eating a lot, but I honestly don't think I am. But the baby is gaining weight too.

My next appt is Oct 8th where I get a sonogram. I am looking forward to that.

Ryan's outlook on raising Lillian

Ok....so my cousin Abby posts about Leah's quotes of the day. I think I am going to start with Ryan's questions of the day.

The other day Ryan asked what the line was that mommy's have on their chest. This one was a surprise. I told her it was called cleavage and she said "Why do mommy's have cleavage." At this point, my answer is "That's what mommy's have."

Heather told me to reroute her thinking process and go the scientific route. "Cleavage is a type of rock foliation," That is the teacher in her. :)

Then this morning, this is how it went:

Ryan: "Is Lillian going to sleep in a crib?"
Mommy: "Yes. We will put the other side of your bed back on and raise the mattress to make her crib."
Ryan: "But she will sleep in your room at first, right?"
Mommy: "Yes, b/c I will have to get up and give her milk when she cries."
Ryan: "NO Mommy! You will call me and I WILL give her the bottle. You will call me by saying RYAN, LILLIAN IS CRYING. And then you will get the bottle out of the fridge and I will give it to Lillian."

I LOVE this about her. I have never once told her she was going to have to help us or told her that she has to be a big girl and make sure she is there when we need her. I want her to "want" to help and she has always said that she will be the one to give her the bottle or get the diapers. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful, sweet, kind hearted little girl. Now we just have to make sure Lillian is too.

32 Weeks

I am 32 weeks. Can you believe it? It is so close, yet so far away.

I go back to the Dr Sept 23rd and then for a sonogram on Oct 8th. Everything is going good....well for 32 weeks.

My feet do swell ALOT, but I put them up when I get home when they are really bad and that usually fixes it. Until the swell again.......

Lillian moves SO much. I love it, but really....what is she doing in there? Last night I could see my stomach.....I mean really see it move. She was doing tricks. She is jealous already of her big sister and wanting to be in gymnastics.

I also had been putting the monitor to my stomach so she could hear Ryan laughing. Yes, I use the monitor but not really for sound anymore. I just check on her some as I get up to go to the bathroom. I do listen when Phillip reads to her b/c it is so darn cute. They are so darn cute together.

My blood pressure is still great and hanging out in the 21-22 lb range. I am hoping I don't gain all that much, but from here till Lillian arrives is going to be hard one. I don't eat like a large man, but I don't eat veggies and grilled stuff....well I do when Phillip cooks it :)!!

I also like to blog when I wear things that I have been given. Becky gave me this shirt and I wanted to notate it before I grew out it. She just gave it to me July.

The little cheerleader

We went to see Grant play on Friday. I thought it would be cute to get Ryan an outfit to go with her pompoms. Phillip mentioned a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader outfit so I went to get it.

I could not change her mind on buying it once she had it on. She was sold. And yes, got her some boots.

Go Matzen #3 (Grant did get hurt the 3rd play of the game with possible PCL tear behind his knee, but he ended up being ok after an MRI. He will still get to play his senior year.)

National Anthem

Bronwyn and Ryan doing cheers

One of the dads asked if he could take Ryan on the field. She was SO excited that she got to talk to an real cheerleader. She was so cute.

Thanks Mr C. She had a blast being on the field.

Crazy hair day. She loved having her hair done. Except for when I said "What if it really wasn't crazy hair day?" I SHOULD not have said that b/c when we got there, not many of the kids that get to school early had crazy hair. The look on her face was so sad. I told her it was and she was ok. What a bad mommy I am. :(

Saturday was the Cooper reunion.

Coop (5), Bronwyn (8), Ryan (4) and Leah (4)

Our little Rainbow Bright

Just a cute girl. I can't control my camera around her.

Ahh... yes. Our diva. She got sunglasses from the treasure chest at choir. She wore them all the way home and that's a lot for her. She doesn't wear sunglasses for long periods of time.

31 weeks

I am 31 weeks as of Sept11th. I have 9 weeks left and kind of freaking out....just a little.

Lillian moves A LOT. She is just like her sister and I love it. However, there are times when she moves so much that I have to stop what I am doing to let her get it all out b/c I can't concentrate.

I am having a few issues getting up and walking from my office chair. My body is getting ready and I am noticing it.

I am trying to stay under a total of 30 pounds and at 21 with 9 weeks left. If I gain only 1 a week, I should be good. I am still at Dr appt every 2 weeks. I will have my next sonogram on Oct 8th.

I go to the bathroom at least 2, usually more, times a night. It's my body getting ready for when I get up to nurse (and I can't use the word "feed" or Pretty Granma gets upset ) Lillian. :)

I am feeling ok or as well as one can with everything going on. We have the house painted, just no permanent floors yet. We want laminate/wood floors. I am hoping within the next 4 weeks we will be done with the living room.
