20 Weeks/ First time Cereal

Lillian is 20 weeks (as of Thurs March 27th).

She is still such a good baby. She is still a bit congested, but getting better. It's still really noticeable after she sleeps.

I have ordered Young Living Essential Oils and put Peace & Calming and Lavender on her feet and back twice last night and it seemed to help. I have a diffuser and need to see if that helps her being stopped up.

But other than the congestion, she is good (knock on wood)!!!

She is talking more, picking up "Kitty" (which Heather and I figured out that it is a lion), she has found her hands, drooling ALOT, very happy and doing well.

We loves her tummy time. She gets it b/c she turns over the moment she is put on her back.

She has also had cereal for the first time. She didn't like it, no surprise. But what she did like or think she likes was her sisters chips. She eyed them the whole time Ryan was eating them.

My girl is loosing her hair too :(. It falling out in the back, which is normal, but I don't like it. I feel skin and want to feel her sweet little hair. I know it will grow back, but her hair is one of my favorite features of hers. One......of my favorites!!!

OH .....MY.... GOSH.... LOOK HOW MUCH SHE HAS GROWN.

Lillian 3 weeks.

Ryan school pictures

Ryan's school pictures turned out so good. I am not a complete fan of the costumes, but b/c I got one that was in her regular clothes I like the collage.

She is doing so good. She is the best and biggest help with Lillian. She will tell me if she is asleep in the car or needs her face to be wiped off. She feels like she is a big girl.

She loves Frozen (along with every little girl these days). She has the soundtrack and listens to it EVERY DAY. She will role play and sing the songs. She will dress up too when friends come over.

In her own room, Spring Break and Rolled over

This is a big post. So much has gone on.

When Lillian is sitting up, her head seems to want to hang to the right. I am trying to stretch her head so that she can hold it up and straight. She is doing really well with holding her head up, but she tends to lean it to her right shoulder.

Her cradle cap is still there, but I am washing her hair everyday if I can. For some reason, that one thing oogs me out. I can handle poopy diapers and nose junk, but that just makes me feel yucky to my tummy. Then I feel guilty for thinking that anything on my baby makes me feel that way. Mothers guilt...will always be there.

Lillian rolled over from her back to her tummy Monday, March 17th. She worked and worked and Ryan showed her.....and bam. Hasn't stayed on her back since.

Lillian is sitting in her bumbo more. She can actually grab at the toys, but her arms are so little that she falls forward when she plays with the toys.

Ryan is into Frozen like all other little girls. We have the movie and the sound track and those songs have been playing in my head for a week now. I will be at work singing them and not even knowing that I am doing it.

She has a matching dress to her Ana doll. Such a cutie.

Spring break was fun. I took Thursday and Friday off. Thursday was Hayley's bridal portraits that turned out amazing. Nope....no pictures till after the wedding. :)

While Heather, Hayley, mom and I were at the photoshoot, Bronwyn, Coop and Ry got to go to ASI for the day. They had so much fun.

Friday, I took Ryan to my office to get the monitor mom got me. Ryan was so loaded down with candy, bead necklaces, sunglasses, animals, headbands and much more.

Then we met up with Aunt H-E, B, C, Heather Shultz and kids. We went to Fuzzys for lunch and then to the park. Lilly stayed at school. She likes school :).

Mason is such a sweetheart. He wanted to hold Lillian so bad. He said, "Look, I am smiling." And "I was tickling the back of her leg to make her smile."

She loves her big cousin.

Lilly Rose and PawPaw

I have been to quite a few birthday parties in a row. Every time we go, Ms Misty from school is there with her daughter Gabby.

Ms Misty gets to hold Lilly and play with her while I get a small break :)!
My go to party gal.

Sunday after church

And so it starts......Ryan STILL wants to be on her daddy's shoulders. I am sure this is the beginning of Lillian's rides around the house.

Ryan and Coop, the Not So Twin Twins at Sams. They were soooo good this day.

Ry Ry and mommy's day off. Ryan told EVERYONE at school that she had the day off until Monday. This was Friday. She was so excited to have the day and get to drop and pick up Lillian at school.

Sweet moments.....

I let Ryan sleep in our bed on some weekends. She is REALLY good about going back to her bed during the week, which makes it fun to let her sleep with us. It's like a treat and not a fight to get her back in her room. She has actually asked to go back to her room before.

This night.....she asked me to read her a book. I had to take my makeup off and brush my teeth. This is what I come out to....

Mark your calendars..... March 7th was Lillian's first night in her bed. She has done quite well in her own bed. It is so true that we all sleep better in our own rooms.

Now she has been back in our room a few times b/c she still coughs and/or doesn't want to be on her back, but every night to go down for the first time, she goes in her own  bed.

Good times

Ryan is amazing. She is so good in school and loves getting her green notes. She says green is good, purple is bad and red is you have to leave school.

Lillian is already on the phone.

"Whhhoooo? She said what?"

Happy girl...

Bird....

Ryan loves to pose.

I took her to a National American Miss open call invite only last night. I don't want her in pageants, but were told we would get pictures. She wanted to wear this outfit, but I didn't have the right sweater. So she got to wear it the next day to school. She LOVES skirts.

Pretty Granma got her a seat pet.

4 months and 5 years

Lillian is 4 months old. (Crying a little)

I am crying because yes, time has gone by so fast. However, I am not missing how tired I was (and still am).

I love her at this age. She is just so happy. She laughs and sings.

Phillip started singing "Eyes, Ears, Nose and Mouth" and no lie, she will start singing too.

She loves Kitty, which is a toy that hangs on the carrier and was Ryan's when she was little. The ears crinkle and it rattles. She will bat at it if it hangs on her bouncer.

She is still eating 4oz every 3 hours at school. But I think we will up her night bottles b/c she is still waking up every 3 hours or so. I went back and looked at Ryan's blog and she was sleeping through the night some at 3-4 months. I didn't blog how much she was drinking (and who knew I would want to know that 5 years later).

She follows anyone of us if we were to walk in the room. She recognizes us and really loves her sister.

Ryan is one amazing 5 year old. She is such a good sister. She still has to see her every afternoon. If Lillian is covered when I pick her up, she has to look in the carrier to make sure she is there.

She is really getting into coloring. She has taken her book and markers with her on the ride to school for the last week.

She still loves to sing and play in her room while role playing with her dolls.

I am loving who this little girl is growing up to be. She is loving, caring, sweet, good in school, playful and all around happy girl.

Indian Princess

Ok....so yes we are pretty silly at our house. Phillip started INDIAN PRINCESS a long time ago. He would put Ryan's onesies over her head and sing "Indiannnnn Princess" over and over. Ryan still comes running from her room saying that when a shirt gets stuck on her head.

It's so funny b/c I don't think they look all that much a like anymore, until I see pictures like this.
