Ryan got to go to a birthday party on a ranch. She had never been on a horse before and got to ride a pony.

It had rained and poured the night before so her rain boots were perfect. All the kids got hats as favors.

This ranch had a little town with a General Store and a jail. All of Ryan's friends played in that jail for about half an hour.

Last week, Ryan and I met up with Katie and Ari at the park. They had a blast.

Ryan: "Haha, I look funny." She said she can see her eyes in the picture. Only Ryan......

I love to see what Ryan "cooks" up on Fridays. They have cooking day, which is really just making a cookie of some sort into something else.

Last Friday was a rake for the Fall theme.

You know..."picking your battles" is something I never thought I would really have to deal with...until now.

This is how she dressed Friday night to dinner. She has a crown on, poofy skirt and mix match shirt. What else could she need.....oh yeah....an empty purse.

At the point of when she was dressed and ready to go, you just have to think "wow, this girl is creative." I couldn't get her out of the skirt or crown to save my life. So we chose this battle and we lost :)!!

I am SO excited for Ryan to have a big girl bed. She loves it so much. This is the bed that I grew up in. I loved having the trundle part for friends or just a different way to sleep.

I would sometimes pull it out just b/c or me and my sisters would all sleep on the bed and trundle together every Christmas Eve. We loved and hope she enjoys it just as much.

My work gave me a shower last Friday. I was shocked and surprised. Lillian got lots of cute stuff..... clothes, diapers, wipes, blankets... lots of great stuff. I am very lucky.

Last Friday night, Ryan asked to ride her bike. We had said no many times due to the heat or how tired we were. So this time, no excuse.

I started getting her bike out and she said, "Mom, what about my helmet?" Wow. She does listen to us. J She will always mention to us how unsafe it is when she sees a bike or motorcycle rider riding with a helmet. I love that she likes to wear it.

I sent a picture to Phillip while he was on nights. He had to come see for himself. So being in the area, he came around the corner to watch her.

Her seat was too low so they both decided to work on her bike. She LOVES working out of her daddy’s work truck.

Last Sunday we went to cousin Dorothy and Sean’s place to swim in her pool. Yes, in October but the jet ski plans feel through. So we took the chance and let Ryan, Mason and Izzy swim. After a while we did notice the blue lips so we got them out.
Becky bought the girls headbands and so far the ones that look like glasses are number 1 in her book. Here she is making faces.

The other night Ryan found her Halloween costume from 2 years ago. She asked to wear the whole thing, but it was close to bath time. So she played with the hat….or mask now a days.

Ryan wants it to rain all the time….and I mean ALL the time. She would carry her umbrella every day if we let her. Colin got this for Ryan’s birthday last year.

And Aunt CiCi made this scarf for Ryan. We pulled it out today b/c it was chilly (plus mommy was wearing one) and this is how she stood….all on her own I want to add. I don’t tell her how to stand anymore. She is a camera-lover.

36 weeks

36 weeks has come and gone. The 36 part is not making me a little freaked out, it’s the 3 weeks from today that is getting to me.
I mean I am sooo excited to have Lillian, aka Sneaky Pops as Ryan calls her, but there are always unfinished projects that get me anxious.
I am doing well. It’s harder to get up and move. I have to take it slow when I want to walk. I have had multiple nose bleeds and more than one in a day sometimes. I think that and having to go to the restroom have been the most annoying this time.
But other than that, I am doing well. We are just waiting to meet this little one.

34 and 35 weeks

It amazes me how two pregnancies can be so different.

With Ryan I shed a lot. I would have tons of hair come out when I would wash it. But I had manageable hair. I had acne on my face, chest and back. I had gestational diabetes. My nose puffed up at the end of the pregnancy. I had hemorrhoids (sorry for those who don't want to hear that).

With Lillian, I am not shedding anything close to what I did with Ryan. I have had no acne. My hair is just as long, but not as manageable. No hemorrhoids or gestational diabetes.

However, this time my feet swell often and sometimes a lot. I don't remember having to get up 3-5 times a night like I do now. I remember getting up, just not as much as I have this pregnancy. I am more tired at night, but that is understandable b/c I have to take and pick up Ryan from school. Last time I only went to work and back and got a nap everyday after work.

I did embrace the first pregnancy a bit more. I think it was b/c I didn't know what to expect. I know now that I just want Lillian here and don't really care about being pregnant. I don't want to wish this part away, but very anxious about seeing Lillian.

34 weeks.

35 weeks. I got a lot of complements on this shirt. It is from Sams Club :) and not maternity!

I had a sonogram on Tuesday.

I got a lot of good pictures. She is still measuring about a week younger and weighs about 4 lb 11 oz. The "ideal" weight at this time is about 5 lb 3 oz, so Lillian isn't all that much off.

The Dr also stated that I will have another sonogram on the 29th b/c one kidney is close to the "not so" normal range. The normal size for her age right now is under 7mm. (I believe mm and not cm) Her right one is 5.2 but her left is 6.6. So we will check on the 29th to make sure and hope that she was just holding urine and had not gone to the restroom yet.

She is still in the normal range, but we will just make sure next time.

The sonographer was able to capture her foot and hand in the same shot. Her arm is resting on her knee.

This is Ryan's foot for sure. I just love those little tootsies already.

This is her profile with her nose pointing to the left as if she was standing and not laying down.

Birthday parties

Ryan had two back to back parties at Main Event. She got to bowl two weeks in a row. However, I think she had more fun playing "server" and dancing then she did bowling.

This was Brendan's party with Joshua and Gaby.

Ryan, Gaby, Brendan and Jack

Smiling (not saying the Pledge of Allegiance)

Playing Fruit Ninja after cake

Gaby's party with Gaby (her bday and she is the only one not smiling), Sam Shooey, Brendan, Ari and Joshua

Glow in the dark at Gaby's party where she danced more than she bowled.

I just love this picture.

Halloween costumes

Ryan is just so funny to me. She found her Halloween costume from 2 years ago. She decided she wanted to put the costume on, but we only had time before bed to play with the hat. We laughed so hard together.

First, she wore it like she was suppose to.

Then she had to make it look like her face.

I still laugh looking at her.
