22 week appointment

I had my 22 week appointment yesterday. It went well. Ryan and mom went with me. Ryan wasn't to sure about the sonogram as she thought it was hurting me. She was perfectly normal after and during the Dr appointment, but for some reason she was uneasy with the camera from the sonogram.

 

She is excited though and so were me and mom. Lillian was moving around and just so cute. Here is her profile and feet. I think her profile looks just like Ryan's did.

 

Her heart rate was in the 140's (norm 120-160). She is still measuring a week younger than I am counting. She is about 21 weeks. The Dr and sonographer say that nothing is wrong, she is just measuring younger. All of her measurements were in proportion to each other and looked good.

Let's go Slip n Slidin'

Stacey, Alan, Colin and Oliver came over and the kids used a slip n slide. I know the boys had done it before, but Ryan had never been on one. It was funny seeing her figure it out.

Movement??

Ok......so July 8th marks the first day that I really think Lillian is letting me know she is in there. I felt at two different times little thumps. Now they were at opposite ends of my belly and different times of the day, so one out of those two had to be her right??

 

I have a Dr apt today with a sonogram and taking mom and Ryan with me. I think it will be a great experience for both of them. Mom went with me once with Ryan so it will be fun for her to go again.

 

I will post sonogram pictures later so we can all see her. 

21 weeks

Where does the time go?

 

Lillian is growing and the size of a carrot, according to babycenter.com.

 

I am not sure how she is measuring b/c at the last sonogram we were told that she was measuring a week younger. I go to my next appointment on the 9th and we will see for sure.

 

I think I am feeling movement, but I am not sure. I do get discouraged some thinking I should feel her by now, but I will be patient. She needs to grow at her own pace and I won't pressure her. :)

 

I am feeling good. However, my ankles are swelling at times and I am still tired by 8pm or so. That doesn't stop me though. I am still hanging with Ryan and we are always on the go. Phillip wishes not so much (and me at times), but that's how we roll :).

I have been told that Ryan looks good in yellow. I have to agree. She is so happy, but that yellow makes her glow like the sun. I love her in yellow.

 



Isabelle had her 4th birthday party. She had it at a splash park near her house. The girls had a blast.
