Sunglass girl

These pictures below are a real problem......... a problem saying NO to this face.

I didn't have to this morning b/c she was soooo good, but if ever I have to say no I hope she isn't wearing those glasses and making that face.

16 weeks

This Wednesday marks 16 weeks.....4 months. In 4 more weeks I will be half way there. I can't believe it. I am feeling so much better. I am still tired, but I have a 4 year old and a husband. Last time I could nap every day. I am not complaining b/c I have the best family.

Those first 10-12 weeks were a doozy. I was not feeling well, no energy, feeling weird, but those days have come and gone.

I love this stage. I am not to big, but big enough. Thanks mom for my cute top... open sleeve. You are so sweet. Oh....and that necklace everyone are chewy beads. The baby can chew on them b/c they are teething beads. Way cool huh?

No names yet and if Aunt Linda still reads this, I won't say the gender out loud. I think everyone but you know :). And I will try to keep it in, but can't guarentee that everyone else will.

Ryan's fun facts

Ryan has learned to snap and snaps nonstop. She will ask us to listen to her snap a few times a day. She even got upset b/c a friend at school said she didn’t know how. I asked her if she hears a sound when she snaps and she said yes. So I said that she knows how to snap. She is very proud that she can do this.

I let her stay in our bed the night I got home from my work trip. I turned on Monsters Inc and asleep I went. I was woken up to the sound of snaps almost IN my ear. She was literally snapping right outside of my ear canal. I wake up and she says, “Mommy, do you hear that?” “Well yes……you are napping in my ear.”

She has been obsessed with bugs for a while now. She loves the June bugs outside of our door. She loves to make homes for them as we are on our way to school. They are almost dead at that point and really dark in color. Not sure if these are a different breed, b/c they don’t fly much. They are just hanging out on our front porch if we come home after dark.

If we say there is a bug, she has to see it first. She has to examine it to see if it’s play worthy.

Ryan still loves to be tickled. She has to have her daddy tickle her at least once a day. That is their bed time routine or morning wake up routine.

Phillip took pictures of Ryan every morning I was gone. I went to FL for work Monday through Friday. It was awesome to see her to so happy. The picture in the yellow shirt isn’t the happiest b/c it’s like she is tired of the pictures but having them taken b/c she knows they are being sent to me.

Ryan having fruit the morning I left. She is ALWAYS a morning person.

Monday.....her daddy does a good ponytail.

Tuesday....lunch day.

Wednesday.....really....another picture dad?

Thursday.....sassy pants.

I got back and spent a lot of time with Ryan. This is the morning after we went to Stacey and Alan's to play. She woke up with her hair like this after sleeping REALLY hard. But again....happy girl.

Mommy got a non-approved daddy swim suit. She is 4. I didn't think it was that bad....ok...so it is a little tiny.

In her cover up before swimming.

Um....surfer girl.

Phillip and Ryan colored quite a few pictures this past weekend. This one is my favorite. Ryan did the rainbows, the heads on the birds, the sun and some grass. Phillip....well.....we see how he really thinks our family hierarchy goes. Phillip and Ryan jamming in the truck going 90 miles an hour and I am holding on for my life......big belly and all.

Reaching for the (faint) rainbow.

Head for the Cure walk

Saturday was the Head for the Cure walk for Uncle Neil. We had a good group this year.

Granddaddy, Phil, me and Ryan

I was pretty impressed with myself b/c I have never been the creative one. I made Ryan a "Go Team Glioblasters" shirt and a tutu.

Aunt Linda and Nelson with Uncle Neil's picture.

I made a poster to line the trail.

Ryan started off on the right foot.....or should I say shoulder.

Ryan on the run.....literally.

Pre Mother's Day Social Pictures

Today is Ryan's Mother's Day Social at her school. As we were all getting ready this morning, I asked Philip how I was going to go to both parties next year.

Then Ryan chimes in and says, "Ugh, dad it's a SOCIAL."

Well, I guess he just got schooled.

Where's the funny picture...........

Oh, there it is!!!

More pictures from social to come!! I will be going in about an hour.

"I need to laugh."

This girl loves to pose. She has to do multiple ones before I can get one pretty one. They are all pretty, but she has to mix in the funny ones.

She is getting so big. She loves to dance, loves to be silly and she even loves to laugh. She said to Phillip the other day, "Daddy, tickle me. I need to laugh."

I got her a new shirt that says Hello on the front and Good Bye on the back. PS....daddy did her hair. He is getting better at this.

12 weeks!!

Wed May 1st was 12 weeks.

This is my baby's (or our little gummy bear b/c of the little hands and feet ) size.

The website I read says that the baby is about the size of a lime.

Since Ryan knows what Cutie oranges are, we showed her how big the baby was. She held it, said in a sweet voice "ahhhh" and then said "can I eat it?" That girl always has food on her mind. She will eat junk, but that girl will eat any fruit that is in her site.

She is going to be an awesome sister, as long as she doesn't eat it. :)

Crazy hair day!

Crazy hair day. It was a joint effeort this year. I did some and her daddy did some. He likes to get practice b/c I go out of town some and he kinda needs to know. Also, if we have another girl (will find out Monday) then he has to get better at it. :)
