Happy birthday Frank...
Phillip's birthday was the 24th. I thought it would be funny to bring home a cake that had a different name on it.... I don't know....I thought it was funny. The funniest part is Ryan told me that I had to stop calling him Frank! HA!
We walk a like, we talk a like.....
People say that me and Ryan look a like. I do have to agree. But....these two are the same person. They have been know to run a like (sprinkler time), walk a like (going to church) and even sit a like (at hibachi dinner).
Ryan is such a ham.....we all know that. Well, she has named some of her poses.
Sweet
Silly
Happy
And "style"
Ryan loves to go to the spiderwalk. She would go every day if I let her. She is going to be bungie jumping in no time. I took her to the mall where she did the spiderwalk and then shopped for sun glasses. This is where she came up with her style pose. What is cuter than a baby sleeping?
A few weekends ago, Heather, Bronwyn, Ryan and I went to cousin Abby and Leah's house to play. We ate, made brownie balls, watched a movie and played.
Sweet

Matching Pjs!
Yesterday was "Wear your Pjs to school" day. Katie got Ryan and Ariana matching ones at Christmas. So the girls got to be matching again at school.
It snowed again on us. It only lasted throughout the morning, but it was so nice. I believe it was Tuesday, the 15th. Ryan has been so excited to see it snow twice this year.
One thing that I am going to love looking back on is how she says things. She loves her Fruit Loots in the morning. Not LOOPS, but LOOTS. I had put her hair in buns so that it would be curly too. It's the wasy way without having to use a curling iron or rollers.
This picture is kind of blurry, but I love how she lets me take pictures of her in the mornings. Phillip bought this shirt for her and I think it's pretty darn cute on her. Phillip loves his little yoda.
What a great age this is. We do have some whiny moments or pushing of the buttons (ours that is and testing us), but over all she is so much fun to have. I know I say that almost every post, but I couldn't imagine life without her.

4 year old stats
Ryan had her 4 year old "immunizations" and appt on Jan 4th. She did very well. They did a seeing and hearing test, which the Dr said was very good. She also did very well getting the immunizations as she only cried a little bit. I was so proud of her.
She weighed 39 lbs which is the 75th percentile. She is 40.75 inches tall and again in the 75th percentile. Her BMI is 16, which is in the 80th percentile. I know this looks to be high, but for this girls height, she is very porportioned.
We went out for our 7 year anniversary (which is today) on Saturday night. We took Ryan to a hibachi grill. I think she had a good time. We enjoyed being together as a family.
Ryan is into her Barbies and playing with all of her dolls. She loves to play like they are sisters and make up trips to different places. She also likes to play board games. We have played perfection and the cupcake game which Bronwyn and Cooper gave her. We have played that no less than twice a day. You spin the spatula and you get different ingredients each time. Once you collect all of them, you win. She loves to win and isn't the most gracious loser. We are trying to work on that.
I took Ryan to see The Rise of the Guardians during the Christmas break with mom, Hay and Bronwyn. It was a really cute movie and talked about Jack Frost. He was a character like Santa, the took fairy and the Sand Man. Well this morning when Ryan saw snow pellets on the ground, she yelled "Mom, Jack Frost came to our house." She was so excited. She hopes it snows again. I think we all do, but not a hard freeze.
It has been very fickle these last two months concerning the weather. It was high of 50's and very humid on Saturday morning. And then Sunday morning there were snow pellets every where. Almost like hail, but melts like snow. It's very weird.
It is suppose to only be in the 40's this whole week. It IS Texas so what do you expect!!
It has been a great holiday season. We are back to normal with church chior for Ryan and her gymnastics once a week.

Christmas 2012
The Christmas holidays was filled with lots of family activities.
We went to my dad's on Dec 23rd.
Went to mom's and Grandpa's on Christmas Eve.
Ryan and Phillip made cookies for Santa. And then she woke up to her Barbie doll house which she showed Eddie how to play.
Pretty Granma, Pawpaw and family came on over Christmas Day. It also snowed, which was Ryan's favorite thing. She had been waiting for it to snow all year.
This year was the first year that I had ever made a snowman. It was awesome.

Ryan's Celebration of Life at her school
Ryan had her Celebration of Life on December 27th. It's a ceremony where Ryan shows how old she is and how the Earth revolves around the sun once a year. Every time the Earth goes around the sun, she turns another year older.
She got to show pictures of when she was born, 1, 2, 3 and then one around the time she was to turn 4 years old. Ms Christine also lit a candle for every year.
We brought snacks and the kids got to eat and have a good time. Ryan got to serve her friends and pass out drinks.
It was a neat ceremony.
